Dez aldeias localizadas nos municípios de Araquari, Balneário Barra do Sul, Garuva e São Francisco do Sul (SC) receberam alimentos e produto de limpeza, na segunda semana do mês de junho, em mais uma ação que visa enfrentar as consequências da pandemia da Covid-19 entre os povos indígenas.

Ao total, 146 famílias foram beneficiadas, das aldeias Conquista, Jaboticabeira, Morro Alto, Pindoty, Piraí, Reta, Tarumã, Tarumã Mirim, Yakã Porã e Yvypuru.

A ação do COMIN foi uma complementação às cestas distribuídas pela Companhia Nacional de Abastecimento (Conab). A organização para as entregas foi construída juntamente com a Secretaria Especial de Saúde Indígena (Sesai) de Araquari: todas as compras foram entregues diretamente ao órgão que providenciou a higienização para posterior distribuição.
