O Sínodo Noroeste Riograndense promoveu, no domingo (28), o Dia Sinodal da Igreja que teve como tema, esse ano, “Gerações de Paz”. O COMIN participou do evento, que aconteceu no Parque de Exposições de Horizontina, com a presença de 17 pessoas do povo indígena Kaingang da Terra Indígena Guarita (RS).

Através de duas bancas no Espaço Interativo, foi possível apresentar trabalhos realizados pelo COMIN e distribuir publicações, entre elas o material da Semana dos Povos Indígenas 2019. As pessoas indígenas também aproveitaram o espaço para mostrar a diversidade da cultura Kaingang, vender artesanatos e compartilhar o Pisé – comida típica Kaingang feita a partir do milho crioulo torrado.

Juntamente do COMIN, estiveram também representantes do Grupo Agabio, parceiras e parceiros no trabalho com a produção de alimentos orgânicos. O grupo realizou a troca e venda de sementes crioulas e farinha de milho e fez a degustação de pão de milho com oferta de melado e doces de banana e abóbora.
