Exposição de banners e artesanato do povo Laklãnõ/Xokleng

A exposição fotográfica “Laklãnõ/Xokleng – o povo que caminha em direção ao sol” faz parte do material da Semana dos Povos Indígenas, elaborado anualmente pelo COMIN. Este material é colocado à disposição de instituições de ensino e comunidades, para divulgar a cultura e a realidade indígena.

Em 2016, uma destas exposições aconteceu entre os dias 11 a 15 de abril no Museu Municipal de Araricá/RS, promovida pela Secretaria Municipal de Educação de Araricá.

A exposição, além de ser composta por banners com fotos dos Laklãnõ/Xokleng, integra também artesanato deste povo. De acordo com a responsável pelo Museu Municipal de Araricá, Sandra Helena Couto, a exposição “é uma forma de divulgar a situação atual dos povos indígenas no Brasil. Por isso, realizamos essa mostra anualmente, a fim de aproximar a comunidade dessa cultura, que faz parte da nossa história também.” Acrescenta ainda que a parceria com o COMIN é de grande valor neste processo.
