No dia 22 de abril de 2015, o COMIN foi convidado a celebrar o culto na capela da Faculdades EST, em São Leopoldo/RS. Este mês marca a passagem do dia dos povos indígenas, em 19 de abril. Todos os anos, o COMIN promove, com mais ênfase nesta época, diversas atividades, buscando sensibilizar e informar a sociedade em geral sobre a história e a cultura destes povos.

O tema do culto foi “Partilhar – Compartilhar”, trazendo ao espaço litúrgico reflexões e ações que fazem parte da sabedoria milenar dos povos indígenas. Uma farta mesa de alimentos da rica diversidade da natureza e o convite para repartir foram a tônica da celebração.

A pregação esteve baseada no texto de Mateus 14.13-21, bastante conhecido, lembrando da multiplicação dos pães e dos peixes. Com o hino “A mesa posta é dádiva de Deus”, estendeu-se o convite a toda a comunidade reunida para celebrar o ágape, a alegria da partilha, o compromisso de repartir e de comer juntos/as.
